UA National Pension Fund

Local 21 members also participate in another defined benefit pension plan, the United Association National Pension Fund.  Employers make contributions to the National Pension Fund separately. 

To earn a full credit with the National Pension, you must work a minimum of 1,500 hours in a calendar year. The current maximum contribution rate for Zone 1 and Zone 2 is $2.63 per hour. For every credit earned after November 2010, your monthly normal pension amount per year is $50.04. The current maximum contribution rate for Service is $1.00 per hour.
